Availability
Rats from Moomoo Rattery are pets, not feeders. There may be a wait up to 4 months as we are small scale (1-3 litters at a time) to ensure every baby gets one-on-one socialization. Availability and waitlist updates are posted on social media.

Application
•Application/Waitlist fee: $10 Non-refundable, separate from adoption fee
An approved application is required of every adopter. Reservations go in the order of applications received. Breeders message me for separate form. An application does not guarantee you will be approved.
Reservations
Reservations are held between the rats’ age of 5-7 weeks. We will text approved applicants at that time with photos/videos of available rats. The text begins 24 hours to:
•Send photo of cage setup
•Choose rats
•Sign Rat Adoption Agreement
•Pay $35 reservation fee
Then we move on to the next applicant. Reservation fee goes towards final adoption fee. It is NOT refundable for no-shows or cancellations. If the rats you reserved become unavailable because of illness, death, or any other reason caused by Moomoo Rattery, this is the only case where we'll make an exception to our non-refundable deposit policy.
Photo of cage setup must be sent with your name and date visible. We reserve the right to deny a previously approved applicant if the cage is not suitable for baby rats. The adopter will have until the date of sale to fix any discrepancies.

First time rat owners are welcome, if you do not know what is best, I will happily send recommendations. I have blogs on basic rat care you can read up on before applying, it will help with the application questions.

Being untruthful on your application or contract will lead to you being blacklisted and put on a "Do Not Sell" list available to all local breeders. I care about the homes the animals that I raise go to.
